WhatsApp discusses what happens to users who do not want to change their privacy
WhatsApp first announced its new usage terms early last month and the changes at the time were interpreted by many users to mean that the platform would share their messages with parent company Facebook.
It’s not clear what comes after that, but WhatsApp has a new policy of removing accounts that have been inactive for 120 days, and you will be classified as one if you reject the new words.
Tapping the banner will include a more detailed overview of the updates, providing more information of how WhatsApp interacts with Facebook. The Facebook-owned company says that it will finally notify users to read the updated guideline and approve it to continue using the app.
