Twitter Spaces seeks to deal with Clubhouse’s call-only audio-based social networking site
Twitter aims to make its live audio service accessible to all of its users by April, the micro-blogging platform spokeswoman said Thursday.
Although you’re not currently going to find the opportunity to build a new Space because you’re one of a lucky few, the organization now claims it’s hoping to open Spaces for everybody next month.
The feature that allows users to build public and private audio chat rooms on the microblogging site was first revealed in December last year. But its testing was limited to only iOS, which is now being extended to cover Android apps.
“We are expanding to give more people an opportunity to enter the Spaces and listen to them! Rolling out over the next few days, people with Android will now be able to participate, listen, and talk in space conversations,” Twitter said in a statement.
